A constructive theory of shape

چکیده
We formulate a theory of shape valid for objects arbitrary dimension whose contours are path connected. apply this to the design and modeling viable trajectories complex dynamical systems. Infinite families qualitatively similar shapes constructed giving as input finite ordered set characteristic points (landmarks) value continuous parameter κ∈(0,∞). prove that all belonging same family located within convex hull landmarks. The is constructive in sense it provides systematic means build mathematical model any taken from physical world. illustrate with variety examples: (chaotic) time series, plane curves, space filling knots strange attractors.

An axiomatic constructive development of the theory of nearness and apartness of a point and a set is introduced as a setting for topology.
متن کاملConstructive Matrix Theory
We extend the technique of constructive expansions to compute the connected functions of matrix models in a uniform way as the size of the matrix increases. This provides the main missing ingredient for a non-perturbative construction of the φ 4 field theory on the Moyal four dimensional space.
متن کاملConstructive Decision Theory
In most contemporary approaches to decision making, a decision problem is described by a sets of states and set of outcomes, and a rich set of acts, which are functions from states to outcomes over which the decision maker (DM) has preferences. Most interesting decision problems, however, do not come with a state space and an outcome space. Indeed, in complex problems it is often far from clear...
متن کاملConstructive Quantum Field Theory
The construction of a relativistic quantum field is still an open problem for fields in spacetime dimension d ≥ 4. The conceptual difficulty that sometimes led to fear an incompatibility between nontrivial quantum systems and special relativity has however been solved in the case of dimension d = 2, 3 although, so far, has not influenced the corresponding debate on the foundations of quantum me...
متن کاملChemical organization theory: towards a theory of constructive dynamical systems
Complex dynamical networks consisting of many components that interact and produce each other are difficult to understand, especially, when new components may appear. In this paper we outline a theory to deal with such systems. The theory consists of two parts. The first part introduces the concept of a chemical organization as a closed and mass-maintaining set of components. This concept allow...
